Taking a squad of 20+ teenagers abroad is no small feat. It requires military-like precision in logistics, but also the flexibility to handle the unexpected. Over the last decade, we've learned a few golden rules for smooth team travel.

Whatever the itinerary says, aim to be there 30 minutes early. This buffer absorbs the inevitable forgotten shinpads, bathroom breaks, and traffic delays. It turns a stressful rush into a composed arrival.

Controlling diet in a new country is challenging. We always recommend pre-arranging buffet menus with hotels to ensure familiarity and nutritional balance. Hydration, however, remains the coach's primary responsibility—especially in humid climates.
